Katonah Yoga & restorative · Queens & Brooklyn
Understand your alignment through the lens of geometry. Private Katonah Yoga and restorative sessions that make your body feel organized, spacious and at ease.

The practice
Katonah Yoga is a Hatha-based practice that treats each pose as a shape to organize yourself within. Using geometry, metaphor and props, it turns alignment from a list of rules into something you can see and feel.
Amelia teaches the practice with a dancer's sense of space and a kinesiologist's understanding of anatomy. Her guiding idea is to find intuition in movement and oscillate between your center and your circumference.
